With a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) you are entitled to fly any of the planes for which you have endorsements (seaplane, multi-engine, night, etc…) as long as it is for recreational or non-commercial purposes. The PPL is the most popular licence in Canada and is also your first step towards a career in aviation.

One important note about the Private Pilot Licence is that it is the foundation for all other Licences and certain Ratings. In order to obtain a Commercial Pilot Licence you must be in possession of a valid PPL.

Due to the varying amounts of individual training required by different students, it is difficult to provide an accurate cost for our program. Individual learning abilities, course completion times, and even weather all have an effect on the final cost. Our Estimated Cost represents an average student and is a good indicator for budgeting purposes.
